The Above and Beyond Exhibition is all about making sense of the universe for 100 years, is a humble attempt at navigating through some of the most spectacular achievements in modern astronomy bringing them closer to the public.

This is a walk in event and is open to the public all day. 

Discover the Past ARCHAEOLOGY FUN

Cork Public Museum, Fitzgerald's Park
2pm-5pm

Join us in the Cork Public Museum for a walk-in afternoon of archaeological fun by reconstructing lifestyles, analyzing bones, making and tasting butter in a prehistoric style and children under 12 can excavate in the Digging Lab.

This is a walk in event and is open to the public from 2pm-5pm.

Nano Nagle Place, Douglas Street
5pm-8pm

Become a PLAY EXPERT and help us to discover the perfect playground. Join us at our Activity Center and become a researcher with us – we need your help!

And come on down and help us Rate our Playful Museum and learning tools so you can tell us whether or not they are fun to play with!

CORK MOON WALK

Outside St Peter’s Cork, North Main St
6.30pm -8pm

Relive the Apollo 11 Mission with BCO’s SciComm team on a guided “Moon Walk” through Cork City, starting at St. Peter’s and followed by an Apollo 11 talk at Nano Nagle Place.
