Cork Discovers – A World of Research, is a series of free, exciting and interactive events for all ages that took place in venues across Cork City on Friday, September 27th 2019. Visitors discovered and explored topics ranging from Archaeology to Zoology, and learned how research impacts their daily life.

Cork Discovers 2018
Cork Discovers took place for the first time last year in 2018, hosting 40 events in 10 venues across the City and drawing in over two thousand visitors. It was a huge success and here’s a look at our highlight’s video:
What is European Researchers' Night?
European Researcher’s Night is an initiative set up to celebrate researchers and the valuable contributions that they give to our societies . In 2017, 342 cities with 21,850 researchers and over 1 million participants took part. Researchers shared their passion and proved that science really is for everyone.
